EV Ready Buildings (EVRB) Grant Success – Stage 1 Acceptance for Valen Client

Valen are Project Managing the installation of EV Charging infrastructure into a large mixed-use predominantly class 2 residential apartment building in Surry Hills.

We applied on behalf of the owners for the Route 2 recognition of existing Feasibility Study and have been approved to progress with the scheme.

This is potentially a huge win for the owners due to the size of the building and respective system.

Valen coordinated the independent design of EV charging infrastructure that was not biased towards any particular provider. Subsequently we have demonstrated extensive savings for the owners of this property in the installation phase through the engagement of subject matter expert electricians who are remaining independent of the charging infrastructure providers.

On this project Valen have managed all technical designs for the process including undertaking town planning assessments and subsequent enquiries with the NSW Building Commission in relation to DBP and Planning Pathway Requirements, and a fire safety report for the site to determine suitability of the existing fire systems infrastructure to ensure that there are no unforeseen risks and future costs to the owners.
